Dethatching
What is Dethatching?
A process that involves removing decaying organic matter (dead grass) at the surface of the soil.
Why Should it be Done?
When you remove the decaying matter you are allowing air, water, and nutrients to better penetrate the soil, in return making a healthier lawn.
When is it Necessary?
When putting down seed, it’s always a good idea to dethatch and get the old grass up so that the seed can make contact with the soil. It is a crucial part when we do a lawn renovation!
